C.A.R.E. is designed for people with cancer who receive their care and treatment at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Through C.A.R.E. Program, people diagnosed with cancer receive education and support, as well as a free, healthy, and delicious meal every week
Rafiki Coalition for Health & Wellness
Rafiki Coalition strives to achieve its focus by providing health and wellness services including but not limited to, health education, movement classes, health screenings, advocacy, transitional housing and case management services for people living with HIV/AIDS, trauma resiliency and mental health circles, and other health-promoting activities.

Worried About Insurance?
If you have little or no insurance, the following are a list of low income Insurance programs and clinics you can contact for direct services and/or assistance to enroll in Medi-Cal or Healthy San Francisco.
Medi-Cal
Medical provides free or low-cost health insurance for eligible individuals that come with a range of health benefits and services. Medi-Cal eligibility is based primarily on your income. For more information on Medi-Cal or for help with your benefits, call the San Francisco City and County Human Services Agency service center at 415-558-4700.
Healthy San Francisco
Healthy San Francisco is not an insurance plan. It is a program designed to make health care services available and affordable to uninsured San Francisco residents. It is operated by the San Francisco Department of Public Health (DPH). Call 415-615-4555. Translation services available.
San Francisco Women’s Cancer Network
SFWCN provides referrals to screening, diagnostics, treatment, psychosocial support, complimentary therapies, transportation, and basic emergency needs. For more information call: 415-347-7788
St. Luke’s Hospital Women’s Clinics
St Luke’s will assist those who are low-income with no insurance, enroll into Medi-Cal or Family PACT. Family PACT is only for family planning needs. If you qualify you must be able to get pregnant or cause a pregnancy care needs other than family planning. For more information call 415-641-2156
San Francisco Free Clinic
The San Francisco Free Clinic provides free medical care to people who do not have health insurance. If you are uninsured, you can receive Medi Cal care. To make an appointment, call 415-750-9894 (11am and 4:30pm)
Mission Neighborhood Health Center Women’s Clinic
MNHC commits is to provide care and the necessary resources to support its patients’ health and wellbeing. They provide culturally sensitive services in Spanish and English. Interpretations for other languages are available. They welcome patients who are uninsured and low-income and offer affordable healthcare on a sliding fee scale based on the patient’s income and family size. Clinic by the Bay
Clinic by the Bay is a free clinic. If you are a resident of San Francisco or San Mateo county, who does not have Medicare, Medi-Cal or private insurance, please contact them to schedule an eligibility appointment to determine how they can help. If you have a health concern, have not seen a doctor in a while, or you want primary care, preventative care, or wellness screenings, their dedicated volunteer staff is committed to serving you as soon as possible.
